Laker Fans Will Go Crazy Over LSU Women’s Basketball’s Nike Kobe 5 PEs

The Tigers roar with another PE.

Laker Fans Will Go Crazy Over LSU Women’s Basketball’s Nike Kobe 5 PEs

As the breadth of the Kobe Brand’s reach in collegiate sports expands, so does the assortment of Player Exclusives made just for these athletes. The Black Mamba himself was always an outspoken supporter of the women’s game, proving that his “Girl Dad” passion was rooted in actions and not just words. This latest set made for LSU’s lady hoopers will undeniably have sneaker-heads and Laker fanatics on the chase.

With the 2025-2026 NCAA women’s college basketball season underway, the competition continues to heat up as the undefeated lSU Tigers look to increase their AP Top 25 rankings into the Top 3. They’ll have the right kicks to support that cause; the Kobe 5 Protro is revealed in Home and Away stylings–the former opting for a white and royal purple while the latter takes on a Bruce Lee-esque golden yellow with regal purple overlays.

Again, these are made just for the athletes of the program, so don’t expect these to release anytime soon. The emergence of these PEs does raise the question: Should Kobe Brand release more Kobe 5s in 2026? In more relevant release news, the Kobe Brand has something ready for the holiday; the Kobe 3 “Christmas” is set to drop on December 24th.
