All-black sneaker devotees have been well fed in recent months, from Stüssy Baltoros to pony hair Goadomes and, of course, the ubiquitous “Black Cat” 4s. If your tastes lean more toward retro tech, you might find a winner in this murdered-out Shox Ride 2.

The Shox Ride 2 has flirted with all-black looks several times throughout its renewed lifestyle run, often distinguished by subtle accent hits. This time around, the emphasis is on a material swap. Official images reveal a carbon-fiber-style print on the Swooshes and accompanying TPU overlays, lending a stealthy, almost aggressive edge to the running-turned-lifestyle silhouette. Black leather and mesh round out the upper, punctuated by red and white Shox branding on the tongue and heel.
