Salehe Bembury’s Next New Balance Collab Is A Hairy Suede 992

Merry be the Christmas. This year’s holiday has delivered detailed images of Salehe Bembury’s latest New Balance collaboration – a multicolor, hairy suede take on the beloved New Balance 992.

This marks Salehe’s first collaboration on the 992 and only his second Made in USA project overall, following his 990v2 from 2022. It also continues a strong resurgence for the 992, which has seen collaborations from Joe Freshgoods, KITH, and Action Bronson throughout 2025, alongside a steady run of compelling inline releases overseen by Teddy Santis. Salehe’s entry adds yet another top-tier partner to the mix.

Technically, our first glimpse of this pair came via Salehe’s book I Make Shoes, released back in October. The shoe is built on a blue mesh base with green leather underlays, wrapped in a variety of green and grey hairy suede panels throughout the upper. Cork insoles are included, joined by a branded tag jutting out near the quarter. A light blue sock liner ties into blue and green “N” logos, while the tongue features green leather with yellow 992 branding. Multiple shades of green carry through to the outsole to finish the look.

The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 is currently listed on UK retailer Offspring’s release calendar for January 1st, 2026, priced at £220. We’ll update our coverage as soon as details regarding a wider New Balance release become available.
