Andrew Rizzo The term “cult classic” doesn’t really apply to the Nike Air Max Plus anymore. Sean McDowell’s crowning Nike silhouette has evolved into a bona fide mainstream staple over the past decade, even if its star has dimmed slightly amid the ongoing wave of 2000s-inspired runners.
Up next for the TN icon is another clean gradient style, pairing Sapphire blue with Pure Platinum across the base. The Sapphire hue makes additional appearances within the Air units and on the midfoot shank underfoot, while white Swooshes are used on the upper to pop against the black TPU overlays.
