Though a South Carolinian by birth, Memphis has been unabashed in their embrace of the high-flyer, and that love is very much reciprocated. While certainly community outreach and more tangible efforts should take precedence, Morant’s love for flashy footwear is some supplementary proof, looking to Swarovski for on-court collaborations for a few years running.

Now, that partnership extends into the lifestyle world via the Swarovski x Ja Morant x Nike Air Force 1 Low. A jet black nubuck foundation gives way to three distinct patches of the company’s patented crystals, coating the Swoosh, tongue tag, and heel cup. Leather liners and a tumbled leather dubrae add to that refined air, with perhaps the central touch coming via the shimmering Ja logo hangtag. As has been the case for nearly every Ja has let loose, he beat the “leaker” accounts to the punch for this shoe too, sharing in-hand video of this crystalline colorway as far back as July.
