The Jordan 6 Rings “Gym Red” Is Back

Despite routinely being the butt of jokes, Team Jordans play an important role in Jordan Brand’s story, marking the first chapter in the creation of the brand in 1997 and getting the ball rolling for its eventual expansion into training, lifestyle, golf, and more. The 2008-born Jordan 6 Rings is inarguably one of the line’s most recognized models, carrying a devoted fanbase of defenders and occupying shelf space for the better part of its nearly two-decade-long history.

Here we have the return of a previous colorway in the Jordan 6 Rings “Gym Red” from 2019, taken with an almost monotone upper consisting of patent leather and canvas. The spoiler-inspired heel tab (pulled from the Jordan 6) and strap (pulled from the Jordan 8) appear in black, as do the lining and additional branded elements. Underfoot sits a white midsole and semi-translucent blue outsole with red traction.

The Jordan 6 Rings “Gym Red” is available now on Nike.com for $175. We suggest moving quickly if you’re set on securing a pair as larger sizes have already begun selling out. See our Where To Buy section below for purchase links.
