Bob Marley x adidas EVO SL Releasing In February

A fresh step in the adi x Marley partnership.

Bob Marley x adidas EVO SL Releasing In February

Bob Marley’s love for the Three Stripes during his life was no secret, and in kind, the brand’s reciprocation has been constant over the past few years. The legendary musician’s estate first made its relationship with the German giant official with a version of the SL 72 in 2024, but now appears to be pushing into further futuristic territory.

Indeed, official images of a Bob Marley x adidas EVO SL have surfaced, understandably kitting the shoe in Jamaican/Rastafarian coloring, coated comprehensively in yellow before switching to red, black, and green on the Three Stripes and additional dusky tonality on the collar. While that’s easily digestible from an aesthetic standpoint, of course, the narrative elements are well represented as well: echoes of the usual black-and-white silhouettes on adidas’ lifestyle shoes carry into a depiction on the tongue, bracketed by a “Football Is Freedom” quote and Marley’s signature.

The Bob Marley x adidas EVO SL is expected to release on February 6, accompanied by a Gazelle Indoor colorway that’s yet to be revealed. In the meantime, check out some early imagery included below.
