Andrew Rizzo One lesson every sneaker brand can learn from New Balance is that when you knock quality out of the park, the job of designing sellable colorways becomes far easier. Such has been the case with the New Balance 991v2 since its debut in late 2023, with the premium Made in England model continuing deliver fresh flavors, many rather simple, season after season to a wide body of spend-ready fans.
Here we have a new blue look called “Limoges,” named after the historic city in France known as the “porcelain capital” due to its centuries-old ceramics industry. The titular color appears on suede overlays, while the base arrives in a darker Pageant Blue shade of mesh. The rest of the sneaker skews standard, complete with grey underlays, reflective “N” logos, and a white and beige midsole.
The New Balance 991v2 “Limoges” has already begun surfacing at EU retailers and is expected to drop through the New Balance site sometime soon. Budget for a $270 USD retail price if you’re set on copping.
