Not many get to dive into Nike, Inc.’s archives like Comme Des Garçons can. The Japanese imprint, under its HOMME Plus line, often lets the actual model do the talking, sticking to whites and black to proffer a timeless appearance tied to menswear basics. The intimate between the Swoosh and Rei Kawakubo’s line has now reached the Air Jordan 11, a silhouette that has been on the uptrend since the successful launch of the Gamma Blue Jordan 11s back in December.
A first look at the COMME des GARCONS HOMME PLUS x Air Jordan 11 has been revealed in Paris as part of the diffusion line’s runway show that was held on January 23rd. Again, sharp and simple executions of all-black and all-white are revealed, combining the iconic patent leather of the Air Jordan 11 with super-premium leather applications across the heel, tongue, interior, and even the pull-tab. This amount of high-end craft has rarely been duplicated in the Air Jordan line; the lone exception is the Jordan Bin 23 series, a luxury initiative that is re-commencing this February.
COMME des GARCONS HOMME PLUS branding typically exists in just the insoles, but this is the Air Jordan 11 we’re talking about here; the nameplate appears on the smooth medial side of the ankle, its text pressed into the leather. On the “tie bar” on the tongue is “HOMME PLUS”, replacing the “Jumpman Jordan” that typically resides there.
This marks just the second collaboration between Jordan Brand and CDG; the first arrived in 2019 via two Air Jordan 1s inspired by the biker aesthetic.
Release date information has not yet been shared, but given how the CDG Jordan 11s are part of the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection, a release can come at the end of the year or early next.
