Just days after officially announcing her multi-year partnership with Nike, Lisa went to work quickly as she debuts the first-ever NikeSkims head-to-toe system of dress inspired by the modern ballerina. This collection, which launches on February 5th, features footwear, apparel, and accessories in a soft and stunning light pink shade, highlighted by the Rift Mesh in a satin finish.

Here’s the good news: the second wave of the NikeSkims Rift Mesh is coming much sooner than you think. The super-sleek silhouette with the tabi-toed construction will in fact return on February 5th with a new satin finish. Thus far, a black colorway and a silt red option will be available, further diving into the ballet-themed micro-trend that’s been pulsating in women’s athletic sportswear.
The original Air Rift first debuted in 1995; the sandal slash sneaker was inspired by the Great Rift Valley in Kenya and debut in an apt colorway that matched the country flag. The Rift was one of several Nike innovations that were inspired by the ultra-light, nearly barefoot principles of running. The NikeSkims edition is even closer to a second skin, sticking extremely close to the skin.
Again, both NikeSkims Rift Mesh colorways are hitting Nike.com on February 5th, followed by a February 6th release in Australia and February 26th release in South Korea.
