Andrew Rizzo Italian football club Como 1907 is releasing a collaboration with adidas on the Handball Spezial silhouette, and it’s a beauty. Taking inspiration from the world-renowned lake just outside its stadium, the club gives the terrace classic a luxurious makeover locals will love and tourists should hold in high regard as well.
We begin with a premium baby blue suede upper, a wonderfully summery option for trotting out at one of Lake Como’s many villas. Grey text reading “In Italia, In Europa, Nel Mondo” spans white leather stripes, offering a layer of locality without taking away from the clean presentation. The Como 1907 crest appears on the backtab, followed by the club’s “Semm Cumasch” slogan (We Are Como) in gold cursive just underneath.
