Sneaker News Update: Hidden NY is hosting a pop-up for their ASICS GEL-Kinetic 2.0 in Tokyo, taking place from May 23rd to May 24th, 12 PM to 7 PM, at S01 Gallery in Shibuya.

Hidden NY is staying busy on the shoe collab front. While their BAPE collaboration is set to drop on May 2nd, their next ASICS project is waiting in winds, revealed to by the GEL-Kinetic 2.0.
Revealed by u/Sharkisyodaddy on Reddit, the Hidden x ASICS GEL-Kinetic 2.0 has appeared with the content stream’s customary color palette with white/silver on the upper and hits of green on the heel overlays and interior. The ASICS strikes on the upper are stylized with half-tone dots, complete with shadings on the under-belly of the logo to create a three-dimensional effect. Beneath, Hidden keeps the TPU TRUSSTIC cage an opaque-to-clear, housing the green GEL pods on the interior.
Neither ASICS nor Hidden has announced this collaboration nor has a teaser been unleashed to the public. Despite that, the Redditor who posted the images on the message-board managed to buy them in-store (when and where they were purchased remains a mystery for now). This early release was very likely unsanctioned as Hidden tends to tease their collaborations early on.
