Andrew Rizzo Updated July 10th, 2026: Finland’s Beyond has officially peeled back the curtain on its Nike SB Dunk High collaboration, drawing inspiration from the works of Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto. While never his intention, Aalto’s swimming pool designs quietly changed the course of skate history, inspiring the empty Southern California pools that 1970s skaters discovered were perfect for riding, ultimately paving the way for the pioneers of vertical skating. Pool graphics and tile-inspired motifs on the insoles and packaging pay homage to that lineage. An in-store release at Beyond in Helsinki is set for July 11th, with a larger global rollout to follow later in the month.

It’s about damn time. After a few quiet years and constant clamoring from skaters, the elusive Nike SB Dunk High is finally positioned to return to shelves. Credit goes to Finnish skate shop Beyond, set to celebrate its 20th anniversary with its debut Nike SB collab in July 2026.
Leaked images reveal a crisp colorway featuring a white leather upper, Ivory suede overlays, and a Sand Dune suede Swoosh. The collar comes in patent leather, rendered in a Blue Void shade that nods to the Finnish flag, while a Dark Team Red outsole caps off the big elements underfoot.
The insoles hint at a broader theme, though the full story isn’t clear just yet. Red text reading “Lines That Never End” appears alongside a series of somewhat ambiguous illustrations, while repeating “skateboarding is…” messaging shows up on the bottom of the Zoom Air unit. Needless to say, we’re eager to get more context as the release approaches.
Last we saw of the Nike SB Dunk High came in late 2024 via Antihero’s collab, which lingered on shelves for months. The SB Dunk High has no shortage of history behind it a la grails like the “MF Doom” and “Skunk,” but recent years have seen fewer releases and even fewer that truly move the needle.
The Beyond x Nike SB Dunk High is confirmed for July 2026 at $140, though exact release details have yet to be announced. Check out early images below and stay tuned for updates.
