When it comes to footwear, Anthony Edwards does have reinforcements on the way, leveraging pre-game warm-ups to debut his adidas Believe That 1. A takedown/budget counterpart to his tentpole signature line (mirroring what Nike has on the way for Ja, or adi recently had in place for Dame), the silhouette has flexed several colorways before it’s even touched down.
The latest in that group is a “Carbon Grey,” coating the exteriors in that titular steely shade before utilizing cerulean for the branding and quarter panels. As so many adi Basketball products do, this pair closes with black mesh for its bootie interior. To date, several previously-unveiled editions have referenced looks from the AE1 or AE2, but this demonstrates an ability for the Believe That 1 to develop aesthetics on its own two.
The adidas Believe That 1 as a whole remains on track for a May 1st release, but finer details on when this “Carbon Grey” will get in on the celebration are currently unavailable. Be ready for an $80 retail price in men’s sizing and a $70 sticker price for kids’ pairs.
