It’s all gas, no brakes for the New Balance 1890 in 2026, led by collabs with Joe Freshgoods, JJJJound, and multiple rounds from Queens cultural maven Action Bronson. That’s all while general releases keep on coming, now including this “Outerspace” edition for June.
Official images show a tan mesh foundation with dark blue synthetic overlays, a pretty muted look compared to the colorful, metallic-heavy styles we’ve seen grace the model thus far. The sock liner comes in a baby blue shade, while the ABZORB pods are done in a nice teal color. The 1890 combines the upper of the 890v3 with the premium platform of the original New Balance 2002 silhouette, culminating in an updated retro design that seems well aligned with today’s prevailing footwear tastes.
The New Balance 1890 “Outerspace” is due out June 25th for $180 via New Balance and retailers. Scroll through the official image gallery below before deciding whether to cop or pass.
