Bape has dominated the headlines in recent weeks between a Hidden NY capsule, upcoming adidas EVO SL styles, and of course, our first-ever sneaker collaboration. Now the Japanese streetwear giant is reconnecting with another familiar partner, unveiling a trio of ultra-limited Crocs styles for May.
Helping usher in the release is legendary Japanese rap group Scha Dara Parr, longtime friends of the brand whose relationship with Bape dates back to the ‘90s through lookbooks, campaigns, and official collaborations alike. The silhouette of choice is the Crocs Echo RO, a newer extension of the Echo family distinguished by its aggressive outsole design.
Three Bape x Crocs Echo RO colorways are on tap, each leaning on the brand’s iconic camo print in Powder Blue, Grapeberry, and Flame. Shooting star logos appear on both sides of the strap, joined by additional Bape branding on the forefoot, insoles, and assorted Jibbitz charms.
The Bape x Crocs Echo RO collection is limited to just 1,000 pairs, meaning these could prove especially elusive given the brand’s global following. Pairs release May 14th via the Crocs website for $110. See official images below if these are on your wish list.
