The New Balance 991v2 remains the Boston brand’s hottest Made in England silhouette, continuing to deliver standout colorways as we move deeper into 2026. Next up is an all-new “Total Eclipse” makeup that feels especially fitting for the season ahead, shown here via official images.

While most 991v2 releases lean heavily on suede, this pair is among the few to feature leather overlays, a welcome adjustment for the rainy months and some much-needed branching out for the model at large. The underlays, tongue panel, and ABZORB pods arrive in a navy Total Eclipse hue, while the base introduces a nostalgic teal shade reminiscent of ‘90s-era design language. We’re immediately reminded of last year’s Shohei Ohtani New Balance 990v6, although we can confidently say this pair isn’t a collaboration.
