Andrew Rizzo DJ Khaled just took to Instagram with an unboxing of the Air Jordan 3 “Brazil,” but it’s another pair in the background that has our full attention.
Seen here for the first time is the Jordan 3 “True Blue” retro for Fall 2026, initially reported back in September of last year. Only the heel is visible, but that’s enough to confirm Nike Air branding a la the original release and 2016 retro.
The “True Blue” Jordan 3 is an original colorway from 1988 and has returned a handful of times throughout the model’s history, including in 2001, 2009 as a Europe-exclusive, 2011, and 2016. Only the 1988 and 2016 versions featured Nike Air on the heel. OG branding on original colorways is standard practice today, but that wasn’t necessarily the case in 2016, which helped make that release especially sought-after. Michael Jordan never wore the “True Blue” 3s on-court during his Bulls days, but he did lace up a 2001 PE (the “Wizards”) later in his career.
The Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” is currently expected to release Fall 2026, meaning sometime between July and September. We’ll circle back with an update as soon as more images surface.
