Sneaker News New Balance is expanding its basketball lineup this summer with the debut of the P400 Low, a streamlined low-top version of the P400 model that first arrived earlier this year. Scheduled to launch in July for $120, the new silhouette brings a lighter, lower-profile build to the brand’s growing hoops catalog while maintaining the performance focus of the original model.
The P400 Low features New Balance’s N-lock technology for stability, paired with soft dual-cushioning, a structured molded upper, and a lightweight nylon plate underfoot. Together, those elements position the shoe as a versatile performance option built for quick movement, support, and everyday on-court wear.
Helping introduce the model is Cameron Brink, the LA Sparks forward and one of New Balance Basketball’s most visible young stars. While Brink is still establishing herself among the WNBA’s elite on the court, few players in the league can rival her off-court popularity, making her a natural choice to headline the rollout of a new model aimed at both performance and broader cultural reach.
The launch arrives as part of New Balance’s larger “Quiet Noise” campaign, which also features a deep roster of basketball talent including Tyrese Maxey, Cooper Flagg, Darius Garland, Aaliyah Crump, and Sienna Betts. The campaign reflects New Balance’s continued effort to build its basketball identity around a mix of established NBA names, future stars, and emerging voices across the women’s game.
