Andrew Rizzo The New Balance Made in USA Spring/Summer 2026 lineup continues to unfold with a batch of grey styles for June. Joining the recently revealed New Balance 1300 “Slate Grey” is this wonderfully aged take on the 992, shown here via official retailer images.
Simple colorway meets unconventional materials. The New Balance 992 typically leans on premium suede, often grey, but this build takes a different route, leading with pre-faded Shadow Grey leather at the quarter. Standard leather underlays and Turtledove mesh form the rest of the base, while Team Away Grey nubuck wraps the toe, mudguard, and heel for added durability.
Two footnotes worth mentioning: this image set depicts the shoe slightly darker than expected, and the small “N” logo on the quarter appears only on smaller sizes, believed to cut off around a men’s size 9.
The New Balance 992 “Shadow Grey” drops June 2026 for $200 in men’s sizes. We’ll circle back as soon as we can report more.
