Nowhere is that more true than with the KidSuper x BAPE STA collection, trickling out in drips and drabs over the past few weeks and now primed for an official launch and announcement.
No, you didn’t read our headline wrong; this second link-up between KidSuper and BAPE will eventually deliver 48 colorways of the A Bathing Ape STA, aligning with every country included in the newly-expanded format for 2026. The inset eye motif present on the two companies’ first collaboration remains here, with respective country codes stamped on the heel. To be expected, the flag colors from each locale are often the foundation of each look. Yet some, like Japan’s, take to more abstract inspiration; BAPE’s motherland looks to the jerseys from the 1996 World Cup for its palette.
Given the sheer scale of this effort, the release details are a bit more layered than usual.
