The Nike Air Max 95 is surging with countless options across all tastes and types, and the Nike Air Max 97, if Paris previews are to believd, is next up as a priority for 2027.
That leaves the Nike Air Max 90 in an interesting middle ground, certainly not ntirely forgotten about but no doubt lacking the full marketing push that its younger siblings have recieved. Even if you can’t count on a new OG-adjacent flip or collaboration every month, Tinker Hatfield’s design is overly able to stun in the right special edition. The Nike Air Max 90 “Black Croc” tests that once again, bucking its classic sportstyle ethos with a luxe treatment of darkened faux leather.
Atop that crackly foundation, metallic heel tabs, tongus, and Swooshes still maintain that almost-formal atmosphere while mixing in some contrast tonality.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Black Croc” should be coming to Nike.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks, retailing for $145.
