There’s never any shortage of headlines in Jumpman world. Fan attention may still remain on massive bring-backs like the Jordan 11 “Space Jam” or Jordan 4 “Bred,” history-making collaborations like the CDG AJ11, or any manner of releases sprinkled in between, but don’t lose sight of the real celebrant of 2026.

Indeed, the Air Jordan 6 is still smack in the middle of its 35th anniversary celebration, though truthfully, it feels like the event schedule for that party is a bit trimmer than what the Jordan 5 enjoyed last year. Breaking a two-month hiatus of adult pairs since the Jordan 6 “Cap and Gown” released at the end of April, the Jordan 6 “Oreo” is a hotly anticipated pair that heats up the festivities anew.

Jordan Brand has been squarely focused on the aughts throughout this year, but now sneaks in a 2010s pair for its first-ever bring-back. Though carrying a simplistic overall palette, the Jordan 6 “Oreo” is, in fact, a 2010 invention, bringing a monochromatic swap to the “Carmine” blocking and fitting it with speckled detailing on the heel tab. Translucent traction underfoot finishes out that script. With rear branding becoming a hot-button topic (should only OGs get Nike Air?), one tranche of that discourse will leave satisfied: 2026’s version sticks to “Jumpman Air” on its rearmost real estate.
