Vans’ hot streak has marched cleanly through the first half of 2026, many times issuing follow-ups to already-established successes (see the litany of “Souvenir” flips and similar quantities of new “Pearlized” versions). Yet collabs like the Bape Vans Knu Skool have helped advance the ball for totally fresh hits. In their latest outside link-up, Vans is looking to Italy’s Slam Jam, already a partner they’ve worked with on several occasions.
The most recent chapter in their relationship came with the “Act of Disagreement,” an apparel capsule released exclusively in Europe toward the tail end of 2025. Evidently, that title continues a year later, here displayed in a double-ply, co-branded tag set just below the elastic. The clothing released under that banner leaned into oversized proportions, grungy 2000s vibes, and a utilitarian edge, all of which align with this mash-up slip-on. Though the checkerboard motif that continues to reverberate through the Vans catalog is intact in white/red and white/black executions, material distressing and pre-worn patterns on the midsole hit that industrial overall atmosphere.
The Slam Jam x Vans Slip-On should be coming soon to Slam Jam channels (in-store and online) and likely Vans Europe sites as well. Whether these will see a global launch is an outstanding question. For now, check out some brief teaser shots included below.
