Andrew Rizzo The latest chapter of Tyler, The Creator’s Converse 1908 line is officially underway. Last month saw the multihyphenate deliver both new colorways of the 1908 Jogger and a transformed, Fairfax Ave-coded take on the Pro Leather Low, two silhouettes that appear poised to define the next season of releases. The latter model now returns to focus with official retailer images of a new white and red colorway, coming soon to Converse and select retailers.
Like one half of the inaugural drop, Tyler’s signature Pro Leather style keeps all focus on its exaggerated proportions with a simple combination of white leather, colored suede, and pre-yellowed midsoles. The model differs from the ’70s classic in a number of ways, namely a wider toe box and thick laces for a clear skate vibe, along with a transformed rubber toe shell featuring a star reminiscent of the brand’s chevron logo.
The Tyler, The Creator Converse Pro Leather “White/Red” has already begun surfacing at retailers, meaning a wider release via Converse should be announced in the near future. See detailed pics below if you’re considering copping.
