Andrew Rizzo If you were among yours truly in the losers pool for last year’s Levi’s x Nike Air Max 95 “Obsidian” (the best colorway of the trio IMO), Nike might just have a viable alternative in the pipeline. Official images of a denim Air Max 95 “Ashen Slate” for Fall 2026 have surfaced, a comparable blue colorway that might help soothe the sting of last year’s L.
There’s probably no contending with the look and cultural relevance of last year’s Levi’s collab, but this GR actually offers something that pair didn’t. Not one, but three distinct denim washes form the top three side overlays in gradient fashion, extending one of the model’s longstanding hallmarks with a fresh texture swap. The tongue and surrounding mesh complete the gradient in light blue, while the bottom overlays and toe cap take the opposite end in dark suede. A black midsole with “big bubble” tooling caps off the delivery underfoot.
