The Nike Mind 002 Plugs Ahead In “Work Blue”

A calming colorway.

The Nike Mind 002 Plugs Ahead In “Work Blue”

Like they say, there’s always a bigger fish. Is there always a more viral slide on the horizon? The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 learned the hard way that its replacement would surpass its heights, as the Nike Mind 001, against all odds, remains an instant sell-out proposition and commands nearly double its retail price in certain colorways. Maybe a $250 sticker price for the Air Zoom Hyperice will prevent it from eclipsing the Mind, but it does show that the Swoosh’s focus on teched-up slip-ons is fervent as ever.

The Mind 002 hasn’t lit the world on fire by comparison, but still presents both a far more attainable way to test out the neuroscience platform and a way to work it into everyday life. A “Work Blue” palette swap is next up in its plans, utilizing the two-tone blocking that it first arrived with, this time utilizing cooling shades throughout the upper and a new take on hi-vis trim with “”Light Lemon Twist.”

The Nike Mind 002 “Work Blue” should be coming to SNKRS and select partnering retailers in short order, retailing for $145 in men’s sizing.
