Andrew Rizzo The return of the Nike Air Force 1 ’01 cut has created a great deal of enthusiasm for collectors both young and seasoned, Nike’s most popular model reviving the shape of arguably its best era when it cemented its status as a cultural phenomenon, an energy Nike wouldn’t mind replicating for the modern day.
Next up for the ’01 cut is a “Light Army” colorway that’s a lesson in the “less is more” principle. The titular hue appears on the upper and outsole, complemented by a black Swoosh and backtab and white midsole. The tongue, interestingly, breaks from the traditional color blocking scheme in white.
