Nike is continuing a winter tradition by once again outfitting the Air Force 1 Mid in GORE-TEX and Vibram for the cooler months, teeing up two colorways with more potentially in the works as well.

Itself already boot-coded with its high collar and chunky midsole, the AF1 Mid here takes on rugged enhancements that render it more capable of tackling snow, sleet, black ice, any sort of winter conditions you might encounter. Waterproof uppers featuring dimpled dots instead of toe box perforations shield the foot from precipitation, while a rugged Vibram outsole provides the traction necessary for tackling harsh road conditions. The strap is an important area of note, taken with a new metal G-shaped buckle akin to seatbelts, a fitting aesthetic complement to the other utilitarian upgrades.

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Vibram GTX has surfaced in two colorways as of this writing: “Black/Smoke Grey” and “Summit White/Blue Tint/Black.” Both drop Fall/Winter 2026 via Nike and select retailers.
