The tale of the Nike Air Max 95 has stretched far beyond its original 30th anniversary aims. Now carrying collaborators from Nike SB, to Yu-Gi-Oh!, to Levi’s, the 110 is fully back in rotation as a style icon anew.

Much the same way as it’s a wonderful time for Nike SB Dunk collectors given the depressed resale prices of that silhouette, the wide availability of the Air Max 95 should be massively welcome news to the silhouette’s devotees, as the shoe has shifted its aim from chase products to the widest possible variety of new colorways. The Nike Air Max 95 “Sweet Beet” cleanly fits into that category, almost registering as a tinkered take on what the Nike SB Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower” established. Paired mudguards and soles in jet black collide with deep purple branding atop a pristine white top half, making the most out of this split blocking arrangement.
