Air Jordan 3 “Metallic Silver” Football Cleats Dropping During Week 1

Let the games begin.

Air Jordan 3 “Metallic Silver” Football Cleats Dropping During Week 1

The NFL season is getting underway, and Jordan Brand is bringing some serious shine to the gridiron via the Air Jordan 3 TD “Metallic Silver”.

Arriving September 10th is a new colorway of the made-for-grass/turf AJ3; the upcoming edition goes completely monochromatic, covering the familiar Air Jordan 3 construction from top to bottom in a Metallic Silver finish. The tumbled leather is matched with the smooth tongue and the elephant print to deliver an all-silver look that is kept simple enough to match any team uniform.

The biggest change naturally comes underneath. The traditional Air Jordan 3 outsole is replaced by a TD cleated plate, adapting the Retro silhouette for traction on the football field while maintaining the recognizable shape up top. This is hardly a first for the Jumpman; this style has been in circulation for years, and was even part of the broader Levi’s x Jordan collection from earlier this year.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro TD “Metallic Silver” releases September 10th for $205 on SNKRS and select Jordan retailers.
