Sneaker News Nike’s fuzzy and furry Air Force 1 experiment is only getting louder as we head into the Holiday 2026. Following the release of an orange edition earlier this Summer/Fall and the recent reveal of a purple colorway, we now have a first look at the Air Force 1 Low covered completely in red fur.
Shared by the brand’s footwear developer Frank Cooker, Nike really commits to the concept. Long, hairy red material blankets virtually the entire upper, including the toe, quarter panels, Swoosh, heel, and even the tongue. The interior switches over to a smoother leather lining, but visually, the monochromatic treatment never breaks.
That extends underneath as well, with the midsole and outsole continuing the same red-on-red look whereas the previous orange and upcoming purple decide on a white midsole. There isn’t a speck of another color anywhere on the shoe, allowing the exaggerated texture to provide essentially all of the contrast.
The result might be the boldest version of Nike’s furry Air Force 1 yet with the all-red-everything approach.
Could we see a drop in October? A “Red October” release is fitting, but release information for these aren’t confirmed yet.
