Andrew Rizzo For gorpcore heads and fans of utilitarian footwear in general, the transition from summer into autumn is one of the best times of the year for sneakers. Nike specifically is approaching the cooler months with plenty of potential hits, including a slew of new Goadome Low looks as well as a plethora of winter-ready Forces. Now it’s the Air Max 95’s turn.
Already in focus thanks to its ongoing “Big Bubble” run, the Sergio Lozano icon takes on a brand new GORE-TEX composition for Fall/Winter 2026, effectively weatherizing a model traditionally best suited for the spring and summer months. Eyes are first drawn to the upper, where grid-patterned ripstop replaces the model’s usual netting. The GORE-TEX is called out with a debossed stamp on the lateral side of the toe, set in textured black material to match the bottom two side overlays. The upper overlays arrive in white, while Campfire Orange accents the lace loops in tandem with some reflective touches.
The Nike Air Max 95 GORE-TEX lands Fall/Winter 2026 via Nike and select retailers, likely priced at $200 or more. Additional colorways should follow. Check out official images below if you’re a fan.
