Andrew Rizzo In the midst of celebrating her first Air Jordan collaboration on the Jordan 14 and Jordan 14 Mule, Mowalola Ogunlesi is wasting absolutely no time moving on to chapter two. Last week’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway show and yesterday’s subsequent Instagram reveal essentially confirm it: Mowalola has not one, but two new Jordan 14 Mule styles en route for next year.
Styled below as part of Mowalola’s Spring/Summer 2027 preview are two new croc-embossed patent leather looks. One arrives in black with Obsidian on the inner lining, carrying an official color palette of “Obsidian/Gym Red-Metallic Silver.” The other is done in “Dark Team Red/Gym Red-Black-Metallic Silver,” blending a burgundy leather upper with black hits on the tongue and midsole. The duo does away with the oversized, embossed script Mowalola branding that defined the label’s first collab, though it stays rooted in the same elevated aesthetic territory.
The unveiling comes at a shrewd time, with Mowalola currently mid-rollout on its first Air Jordan 14 set across both its own channels and wider retail. Despite high prices, the Mule and the AJ14 proper have sold through in most sizes, with demand for the Mule standing out in particular. That suggests doubling down on the Mule moving forward is the right call.
The new Mowalola Jordan 14 Mules are confirmed to release Spring/Summer 2027 via Mowalola, Nike SNKRS, and select boutiques. Check out detailed images below and stay tuned for word on a hard release date.
