The Nike Lunar Force 1 Duckboot Is Back In “Iron Grey”

If you came face-to-face with the Nor’easter or any of early autumn’s extreme weather, you got tangible proof of why weatherized kicks have been such a massive part of our recent coverage. Nike has provided a vast majority of those stories, slapping GORE-Tex on their lifestyle models or renewing seasonal pushes for extant hardy styles like the Air Max Goadome. For those who have been with the Nike Sportswear roster for years, you’ll recognize a familiar face returning for Fall/Winter 2026: the Nike Lunar Force 1 Duckboot.

While you can gather much of what turns Bruce Kilgore’s design into a climate-ready tank from first glance, the finer titling here is worth mentioning. While the earnest Air Force 1 Duckboot holds onto the original sole unit and utilizes canvas uppers to meet its promise, this is more accurately the Lunar Force 1 Duckboot, remodeling its platform and adding a ton of new touches up top. First and foremost is the star-studded toebox, serving both aesthetic and functional purpose, before additional pulltabs, additional lacestays including a buckle below the collar, and additional grippy traction underfoot advance its resistant hardware. For this pair in particular, a flooded “Iron Grey” should be all you need to fit these into your daily rotation this winter.
