It’s beyond doubt that every brand is well-accustomed to the world of the collab. While general audiences may decry how individual team-ups may feel less special now that there are weekly announcements as to which two brands are now joining hands, you have to acknowledge how the form has also grown over that same time period. We’ve seen it plenty this year with New Balance’s 2811 or 2011, or Converse with Tyler, the Creator, major players are now more willing to let their partners get into the workshop and design their own silhouettes. Loewe and On took that step in late 2025 with the introduction of the Cloudsolo, now venturing further down that road with the Cloudsolo Hiker.
As a brief refresher, the Cloudsolo began in October 2025, the first co-designed silhouette between a running brand and luxury house, notable for embedding a Cloud unit in the heel and utilizing Speedboard inside of its pocked sole unit. For this next evolution, the Cloudsolo Hiker diverges from On Running’s typically breezy hardware by cutting in the exact opposite direction. Hardened materials through the upper, new rubber reinforcement, boot-style eyelets, and extended toothed traction all turn this into a true tank. Yet Loewe’s refined touch still lives with three flooded colorways; rich tan, deep brown, and all-black.
The Loewe x On Cloudsolo Hiker has already appeared at stockists like Saks Fifth, but an official drop via Loewe or On channels is still pending. A $890 retail price is confirmed.
