The Nike A’Two Is On “Cruise Control”

It’d be hard any team to replicate the Las Vegas Aces’ playoff dominance in 2022 and 2023. While this current squad has already dropped more games in the postseason through two rounds than in either of those championship-winning runs, within a game, it can still look like the Aces are running on automatic, something that they’d certainly love to tap into against the hellacious defense and depth of the Golden State Valkyries. Whether it’s manifesting or wishful thinking, the Nike A’Two is thinking “Cruise Control” with its next colorway.

Simply from product images, we can’t make out anything that makes this particularly attached to the idea of coasting through game action. However, simply on an aesthetic level, this offers up a refreshing take on Wilson’s well-known love for pink, as black-to-pink gradients appear on the heel cup and Swoosh, aligning with further pink-on-black on the tongue and rear pull-tab.
