Matt Varga Moving homes is never easy. NYC-based found objects artist Tyrrell Winston has taken swimmingly to his new digs, however; the multi-hyphenate traded a long-standing collaborative relationship with Reebok to switch over to the German giant earlier in 2026, introducing his adidas tenure with the Lightblaze POD.
Now looking down his first full-blown capsule with the brand, Tyrrell Winston is finding artistry in the adidas Spiritain 2000. While silhouettes like the adiStar Control 5 have been constants in the catalog in recent seasons and the Control 3 has gotten a lot of indirect burn by way of the adidas Jellyfish, the model featured here is a different animal. It’s a modern invention rather than an era-accurate bring-back, yet still the ethos of Y2K running lives on the budget-friendly sneaker. Winston’s touch is felt with cream overlays, fiery red underpinnings, and gilded trim to bring to a real elevated feel to the lifestyle silhouette.
