There are shoes that make headlines, and there are shoes that make money. Despite sitting behind the Air Max 95 in the former category (at least for now), the Air Max 90 is still a reliable cash cow for the Beaverton brand, continuing to stock shelves and sell well in new colorways as 2026 draws to a close.
Next up for the Tinker Hatfield masterpiece is an easygoing, rather wearable “Geyser Grey/Thunder/Work Blue” look for men, shown here via Nike officials. The titular color plays more of a supporting role than anything on the suede quarter panels, while Work Blue lands on the midsole wedge, mudguard window, lower eyestay, and heel badge. The dark navy Thunder shade makes its loudest appearance on the mudguard, while red accents on the Nike Air branding and visible Air cushioning add some welcome spice.
A few things make the pair more notable than most, the first being a new interior lined with retro-esque jersey mesh. The tongue arrives with a subtle grid pattern akin to graphing paper, while the laces come with subtle, potentially reflective grey accents.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Geyser Grey/Thunder/Work Blue” lands Fall/Winter 2026 for $140 in men’s sizes. Check out official images below if you’re considering adding a pair to your rotation.
