The next few weeks are some of the most hectic and exciting of the year on the basketball beat, rife with PEs for the start of both the NBA and college hoops seasons. This latest headline takes us down to Los Angeles with a first look at a set of Nike Kobe 10 Protros made for the USC Trojans, home of Juju Watkins and therefore a clear focus for Nike’s NIL endeavors.
The news is notable because this is the first college Kobe 10 Protro set we’ve seen, suggesting there should be plenty more on the horizon as the model continues its push. White and Cardinal red colorways are both included in the pack, each featuring USC branding at the heel. The midsoles differ, the white arriving with tooling split fully down the middle in red and yellow while the Cardinal comes with a nice sunrise esque gradient on the lateral side of the forefoot.
The Nike Kobe 10 Protro “USC” PEs won’t release, but the model will see a number of drops like the “Blackout” over the coming seasons. Peep the USC PEs below if you’re a fan.
In other Nike Basketball news, the KD 19 “Texas” comes with brown cow print.
