UCLA football just got a Jordan PE mail call that’s as slick as can be. Iterating on the biggest Jordan release of last year, the program has shown off an Air Jordan 11 “Gamma” PE set consisting of both mid and low-tops, some serious stealthy heat for the currently undefeated Big Ten powerhouse.
Much like the “Gamma” 11s we all know and love, the cleats are anchored by an almost all-black upper. The main difference comes via the materials, both pairs cleaning up entirely in black patent leather. The “Gamma” part of the equation introduces itself on some of the branded hits rather than the outsole as seen on the proper retro. The mid comes with metallic Gamma Jumpman logos around the collar, while both pairs feature Gamma “Jordan Jumpman” text on the tongue ribbon with the cursive UCLA logo sitting smack dab in the middle. Just beautiful.
UCLA’s “Gamma” AJ11 cleats won’t release to the public, though Jordan Brand did come out with black patent AJ11 football cleats (HM7324-001) earlier this year. Check out detailed pics below if you’re a fan.
