Andrew Rizzo Halloween’s now in the rear-view, but one of Nike’s key Halloween footwear series for 2026 isn’t quite done yet. On the heels of the “Mummy Duck” Foams dropping tomorrow is a matching take on the Vaporposite Pro football cleat, arriving in December via the SNKRS app.
Iterating on a PE made for the University of Oregon a few seasons back, the “Mummy Duck” cleats begin with a copper and green finish across the main Foamposite shell, decorated by glow-in-the-dark Swooshes with a tattered mummy-like fabric around them. Mummified duck logos appear on the tongue within the same distressed fabric background, while green “O” branding lands on the rear pull tabs. Underfoot, an iridescent football cleat bottom caps off the delivery.
The “Mummy Duck” collection arrives as part of a pretty significant push for Nike when it comes to college football releases, the Beaverton brand also penning a Foamposite Pro “NCAA Pack” consisting of four styles with their own cleat counterparts. We’ve also gotten a quartet of Air Force 1s as well as an Air Max 97 “Yardrunners” collection for five HBCUs – strong localized packs with built-in fanbases. Good to see Nike making use of the licensing deals it pays so much for when it comes to lifestyle drops.
