The “Greater Than” family will be changing shape in just a few months, with the GT Uptempo, GT Force, and GT Flight unleashing a new headlining trio for the Swoosh’s celebrated inline hoops series. However, even as the brand plots the next steps, the Nike GT Cut 1 has made it impossible to forget about its firsts. Brought back to shelves just a few years after it left them in the first place, the GT Cut has retaken its place as a star of Nike Hoop’s arsenal, letting loose entirely new colorways like the “Unseen Hours” color-up seen here.
Truly, these “Unseen Hours” efforts have been the foremost platform for the speedy silhouette to mint new colorways, bolstered with more “special edition” edge by Dylan Harper’s stewardship alongside Titan22. This variation leans into pretty classic sporty tones, especially when it comes to the Beaverton brand, revisiting highlighter “Volt” that cuts through an otherwise jet black profile. Of course, if you’re tapped into our coverage or hoops shoes in general, this aligns with identical coloring on the GT Future and Ja 4, both recently revealed. Unlike past “Unseen Hours” releases, it’s not immediately clear what, if any, region these are tied to; previous ones had paid homage to the NYC Tri-State Area or the DMV.
The Nike GT Cut 1 “Unseen Hours” is expected to accompany the aforementioned Ja 4 and GT Future to shelves. The former is tabbed for a November 13th release, with the other two inline pairs likely to follow suit. This pair clocks in at $190.
