While not unveiled as part of any elaborate collection, the latest offering from adidas Originals indulges in a sashiko-like construction that deserves a “special edition” roll-out. “Navy Blue” sets the stage for a handful of Japanese-inspired design cues, with a light brown also joining the mix via the tongue and structural clip wrapped around the heel. Midsole units underfoot boast an “aged” aesthetic that complements the uppers well.
