Michael Le Whenever Spring and Summer are just around the corner, the entire Nike umbrella brings out the tie-dye prints and bright pastels. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low, however, deviates quite a bit, as it features acid wash denim across its every overlay.
Typically associated with rock and roll, the finish feels not at all unfamiliar, considering the brand has paid homage to the music genre relatively recently. Here, it dresses the toe, collar, counter, and many of the panels in between, contrasting the white, smooth leather foundation underneath. The Swoosh, tread, laces, and the like, though, serve as complements to the various cool tones, each just a few shades away from the beloved “University Blue.”
