Over the first six months of 2022, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has appeared in dozens of new styles, both solo and collaborative efforts from the brand.
Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s 40-year-old design has seemingly taken a page out of the Nike Dunk’s book as it’s emerged in a “White/Black” colorway deserving of the “Panda” moniker. “Colorless” tumbled leather sets the stage for stark dark contrast around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel, and sits atop a sole unit that also follows the two-toned arrangement. Profile swooshes and upper heel panels deviate from other “Panda” offerings by boasting “White” flair, with the latter components also donning four logos instead of one. Sock-liners are also stamped with the quartet of swooshes, which form a symbol reminiscent of an infinity sign. No firm details have been disclosed by the brand regarding the sneaker’s inspiration, but the modified branding could be trying to community that the Air Force 1 is forever.
