Nike SB and HUF have reunited for another SB Dunk collaboration nearly two decades after the famed “Tie Dye” SB Dunk High hit stores. As a tribute to its late founder, the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low will apparently appear in three different versions representing different cities through its pro baseball teams. We already saw a first look via a white/navy colorway, ostensibly inspired by the New York Yankees; now, the HUF SB Dunks return home in an appropriate white, black, and orange that align with the San Francisco Giants.
This palette mirrors the aforementioned Tie Dye SB Dunks, for which Keith Hufnagel selected home city colors and a pattern that reflects the hippie community that settled in now historic neighborhoods. The lettering, seen on the heel and toe-box, is nearly identical to that seen on the MLB franchise’s jerseys. Like the NYC pair, the heel depicts a city skyline — the same seen on the heels of the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 Hyperstrike release from 2004.
A third colorway is also part of the “KEITH FOREVER” Pack of SB Dunks, so stay tuned for a first look.
