Jovani Hernandez Saucony may be obsessed with creating the next breakthrough silhouette within the world of modern performance-running, but it continues to revisit its past to celebrate its athletic history. Recently, the Massachusetts-based company tapped Sneakersnstuff for another take on 1991’s Shadow 6000 design.
Inspired by the sneaker’s original color palette, as well as old catalogs from the brand’s outdoor segment, SNS’ next collaboration delivers a premium updated rooted in heritage. A two-tone hairy suede and perforated nubuck brings eye-catching tan with muted grey for a “nature versus city” arrangement that breathes new life into the 31-year-old model. A velvet-like material arrives via the profile “S” logo while the tongue takes on a nylon finish, material choices that further elevate the latest collaboration between both institutions. Lastly, hits of purple and pink work in-tandem with the speckled midsole to add some more personality to the Shadow 6000.
