Utility And Sustainability Inform Christopher Raeburn’s First-Ever Collaboration With Vans

From Supreme to WTAPS, Vans has teamed up with numerous high profile names over the course of the Fall. This continues with their latest collaborative effort, which sees the footwear brand joining forces with British designer Christopher Raeburn for the first time ever.

Tapping into the eponymous studio’s functional yet responsible design ethos, the Christopher Raeburn x Vans collection consists of part-recycled footwear and apparel constructed with 100% recycled polyester. Both the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool have been prepared in two colorways each, all four of which incorporate 25% natural rubber and 25% bio-based EVA foam derived from plants. Design-wise, the silhouettes are clothed in two different ways: first in an understated, black-dominant palette, and then in a much busier, camo-patterned style.

For a closer look at the entire Christopher Raeburn x Vans collection, see below. The above-mentioned sneakers will be releasing alongside track jackets, backpacks, beanies, and more on November 18th, doing so at select retailers as well as Vans.com.

In unrelated news, adidas will continue to sell Yeezy footwear in 2023.
