The Nike Air Force 1 hasn’t had the most high-profile 40th anniversary, but what it’s lacked in celebrity and big influencer support has been made up by the sheer number of new styles that’ve surfaced throughout the year.
Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s design from 1982 emerged in a light blue and off-white suede arrangement, with both colors’ unrefined application across the upper creating a cloud-reminiscent pattern. Swoosh logos on the sock-liners further support the sky theme as they’ve been stylized as puffy, curvy figures. Panels on the top of the tongue and heel boast an extra hairy finish that complements the profile swooshes well. Lastly, the playful Air Force 1 opts for a tonal off-white sole unit underfoot, allowing for the upper’s experimental makeover to revel in the spotlight.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipare a Nike.com launch soon.
